Kurt Woerpel is an art director, graphic designer, illustrator, and a few more things living and working in Brooklyn, NY.
Previously Kurt worked as art director at Interview Magazine where he assisted in its relaunch and redesign. Now Kurt is available for Freelance, working with clients like Apple, A24, Highsnobiety, i-D, Brooklyn Art Book Fair, Figma, and Y,IWO to list a few. His work has been recognized by TDC, D&AD, and Young Guns awards for design excellence. He sometimes teaches.
In addition to commercial work, Kurt is a publishing partner at TXTbooks, a Riso zine press with publications held in the MoMA, Met, and NYPL libraries.
